Every Friday from 6:30 - 8:00pm Eastern Time
Every wondered why a damaged QR code still works? This is just one of the applications for error correction - and yes the funny picture on the right relates to error correction too. In this first ever math camp, we will explore the wonderful math of binary numbers, error correction and vector spaces. No need to know what these are, just bring curiousity and a passion to learn new things.
This camp is organized and run by Ada Dyer, High School sophomore, math lover and one of our long time ORCSGirls volunteers.
The camp is free and will be held virtually on Zoom. Sessions will run Fridays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm with office hours until 8:30pm. The first session will be on January 9, 2026 and the last one on February 13, 2026.
Applications are now closed.
